How precious this life we are living. Do we have any idea how incredible it is, how unfathomable, how profound beyond all imagination? Or do our ideas about life tend to rob us of the experience of reverence for life? And, how exquisitely intriguing that life can also be boring, frustrating and discouraging. If variety is the spice of life, contrast is the vinaigrette. Is contrast an inevitable feature of existence? Is existence paradoxical by its very nature? "The thinking mind is not in touch with the real. The Self is, but it doesn't think." So wrote Hanna Arendt, paraphrasing Aristotle.
